I had a fabulous birthday. Thank you everyone for all the cards, letters, gifts and e-mails. I know it’s going to be a really good year and I hope to see you all soon.

4 JULY
Hello everyone. I'm just back in the States. "Moonshot" was an excellent film experience. The director told me he'd work with me again anytime. I think you all will really like it when it comes out. Looking forward to seeing those of you going to Dragon Con - not sure if I'll be able to squeeze in any other cons this year. Everybody take care.

InseGreat seeing everyone at the album launch. You guys
rock! I was super nervous about my broken finger but everyone made it
okay and supported "Karaoke" James on stage! Thank you Ryan for saving
my ass. I know we were a little off on the timing of the photos and
autographs but I really enjoyed spending some time with each of you.
It was great not being rushed. Steve tells me that a lot of you are
concerned about my finger and I promise I'll be good and get it taken
care of. Next stop Cardiff!!
Happy Valentine's Day

Feb 14, 2008
In the absence of a very hard working Mr. Marsters, I thought I would carry on the tradition and give a shout out to everyone and wish you all a Happy Valentines Day. James has told me that everything is going really well on the Dragonball set and that he's feeling great about his work and the work his fellow actors are doing. It's a pretty intense shoot for him because it not only requires him to engage his acting skills but is also a rather physical role. He sounds really happy. We've planned a number of concerts and conventions that have already been announced and I know James is looking forward to those and seeing everyone who can make it as well. The writers strike is over! So I'm happy too.

THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY - THE TRUTH ABOUT CONVENTIONS

I wanted to share a few reflections with you about the recent week of the tour. Let's start with the good - and there was a lot! Great seeing all the old familiar faces and meeting so many new. Thanks to Torchwood there is a whole new group of folks who have discovered James and now share in the enthusiasm of everything James. Eve Myles, Kai Owen, Gareth David Lloyd and all the Torchwood writers - need I say more, the absolute best! The staff of JMLive, who I simply couldn't do these events without. People having fun, meeting new friends, Union Chapel's great acoustics, lots of good laughs and memories. Some great performances by James.

The bad... Unfortunately the concert scheduled for The Rift didn't happen. James wasn't well and wasn't able to perform. We gave it our best to provide an alternative form of entertainment (bless Kai, Justine and Gareth) and now I'm the star of a u-tube video (this is very bad). Some of the weather was bad but typical for London this time of year. Some of the train services provided a challenge to many making their way to Milton Keynes and back. As usual, long lines.

Sadly, the ugly... rumors, innuendos and lies. The truth be told, it seems to come from only a very small group of 'fans' but nonetheless very vocal ones. Let me assure you, that a few bad apples won't ruin it for the rest of us. One 'fan' in particular has overstepped the boundaries and I'm going to set the record straight once and for all. This lady wrote me an email alleging not only that James was too drunk to perform at The Rift and complaining about the event, but effectively calling him a liar about his illness. I'm also told she's been very busy on the fan boards, but I don't read those.

To which I now publicly respond as follows: "Please don't insult us by being so miserably dissatisfied but still following James around from event to event - we don't want it! You have a strange way of showing support with this approach. We can certainly take constructive criticism but your behavior is neither constructive or productive, your allegations are untrue and you are no longer welcome."

For those of you wondering why is Steve making this so very public? The reason is simple, enough is enough and I realize that one or two individuals are doing everything they can to ruin the experience James, I and the team work very hard to bring to the 99% wonderful fandom. Please don't send me e-mails good or bad about this message - just simply digest it for what it is worth and make up your own mind. We continue to welcome everyone who wants to join in a good time or give us constructive feedback about how to have a better one.

Respectfully,

Steve
GREETINGS FROM WALES
James, who filmed the opening episode of the new series of Torchwood in Cardiff earlier this year, says: "I'm having a blast in Cardiff finding my way round. Can't wait to see everybody and I promise, this time no
flooding. I'm having fun in Cardiff getting into trouble with Gareth - maybe he's going to rock harder than me this time. See you on the 17th.!!!
MESSAGE FROM STEVE (ON BEHALF OF JAMES)
"James tells me that everything is going well on the Dragonball set. He's very excited about how everything is going along and the general feeling that things are clicking really well. He will wrap mid-March and continue on his busy schedule.

He just signed up to do two more episodes of Smallville in April, which was just picked up for another season on the CW. Prior to doing Smallville he performs his concert at the San Diego Indie Music Fest on March 29th and in between Smallville's he will appear at Grand Slam in Burbank. Then it's off to London for almost 2 weeks of concerts and appearances. He sounds really great and appreciates all the support that he's been getting from everyone. Lastly, he is planning on attending the Paley Center tribute to Buffy on March 20th here in LA.

Steve"

14 May - News from James
James has accepted a fantastic new acting role from a UK company. We will share more details with you about the project once producers have given us the okay to do so. However, we wanted to tell you as soon as possible because unfortunately it conflicts directly with the Fangoria Convention of June 21-22 in New Jersey. As of now we still expect to be able to attend DragonCon in August, but must cancel the earlier event and we apologize for the inconvenience we know this will cause to some of you.

21 May - Moonshot
James is happy to announce that he will be starring in the forthcoming ITV / History Channel / ProSieben movie 'Moonshot'.

'Moonshot' is a dramatisation of the days leading up to the Apollo 11 launch to the moon. James will portray American astronaut Buzz Aldrin. 'Moonshot' is expected to air in 2009 but no specific date is yet scheduled.
